The adventure

Sue, an English teenager, is staying with Carmen, her penfriend, in Spain. Read what happened to her there: put the paragraphs into the correct order, then imagine the end of the story.
I finished my shopping and then we went somewhere for a cup of coffee. We had a long chat. Javier's very nice. And he speaks very good English. We talked for about an hour and then we walked to the bus station together.
I got off the bus at the bus station and walked to the shops. It took nearly two hours to get everything. While I was looking for the last few things, somebody called me. It was Carmen's friend, Javier.
The bus didn't stop for quite a long time, but finally it stopped and I got off. I waited till the bus left and started to cross the street. Then I saw that it was a one-way street. There wasn't a bus stop on the other side. I didn't know anybody there and it was getting dark. What could I do?
When we got to the bus station, the bus was already there. It was just leaving, so I quickly said goodbye to Javier and ran for the bus. I got on just in time and the bus left. I found a seat at the back of the bus.
When I got up today, everybody was busy. One of the neighbours was having a party in the evening, and Carmen's aunt and uncle were helping to get things ready. Carmen and I helped in the morning, too, but in the afternoon there was nothing for us to do, so I went into town and bought some souvenirs. I went on my own on the bus, because Carmen was visiting someone in the village.
After about a quarter of an hour, however, I realized why Javier was chasing the bus. I was on the wrong bus and I didn't know where we were going! So I thought: 'I'll get off at the next bus stop. Then I'll cross the street and get the bus in the opposite direction back to the bus station.'
Just as I was sitting down, I saw Javier. He was running along behind the bus and waving to me. He was saying something, but I couldn't hear over the noise of the bus. Then the bus speeded up and I couldn't see Javier any more.
