I had a terrible time last Saturday. It was rather cold, but quite sunny, so after lunch I (walk)into town. I (want) to buy a pullover. I (look) in the window of a clothes shop when someone (steal) my wallet. While I (walk) home, it (start) to rain and I (arrive) home cold and miserable. I (decide) to have a hot bath. I (get) ready to have my bath when the doorbell (ring). It was a salesman, and it (take) me several minutes to get rid of him. Unfortunately, all the time he (talk) to me the water (run). You can imagine the state of the bathroom!
